David Pinkston was born in Los Angeles, California to Lyman Palmer Pinkston and Dorothea Beatrice Davis Pinkston. He was the second son and third child of six children.

David was raised in North Hollywood, California and graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1959. After graduation, he entered Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. From 1961 to 1963, he served an honorable mission for the LDS Church.

After his mission, David returned to Brigham Young University and while working in the Office of Student Relations, he met a cute, little cheerleader/song girl named Kay Hill.

They were married in 1965. David entered Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1968. After graduation in 1971, they moved to Bishop, California and established a practice and raised their four children.

In 2005, David and Kay moved to St. George to be closer to Kay’s parents, since all their children located to the south and the mid-west. Dr. David Pinkston is currently in full time practice doing allergy elimination.
